I would first like to thank my dissertation committee, Dr. Anna McFadden, Dr. Barrie Jo Price, Dr. Margaret Rice, and Dr. Elizabeth Wilson, for their help and guidance while writing this dissertation. I have truly learned a great deal through this dissertation process. I would also like to thank my dissertation chair, Dr. George Marsh, for all of the ideas, feedback, and general help he provided. This dissertation really has been a great way to tie together everything I have learned while in the Instructional Technology program.
I would also like to thank the members of my Ph.D. cohort for the support and encouragement you offered over our time in the program. I truly hope we can continue to work and learn together in the future. A special thanks goes to Dr. Susie Stokes for encouraging me through all of our statistics classes together, and paving the way in the dissertation process.
I would also like to thank Dr. Carroll Tingle for encouraging me to begin the Ph.D. program. A thank you goes out as well to my fellow faculty at the University of Montevallo for assisting me in a number of ways with my dissertation.
Lastly, and most definitely not least, I would like to thank and acknowledge my family for their support. To my wife, Cheryl, for putting up with three years worth of all- nighters, my son Josh, for letting me work on this, and my parents for their love and support. To my church family I also say thank you for your love and prayers while I have worked on this dissertation. I thank God for you all and for everything that has happened. It has been a wonderful journey.
